Rachel and Erin had their first football game on Saturday. They played Klein Oak and ended up losing by 9 points. The two teams traded touchdowns all game.Creek missed an extra point and then tried for 2 and didn't make it, and Klein scored last--so that was it. Hard to tell how good the football team will be this year, but those Klein schools are always tough so maybe it will be a good season.
As far as the band goes, it was fun to be able to watch both of the the girls march. They have spots very close to each other on the field, so it is kind of easy to keep track of them. For now anyway. I am sure once they do longer portions that will become more difficult. Rachel was named upperclassman marcher of the week, which is pretty cool. She caught a slight cold over the weekend and lost her voice at the game. But in spite of that had a great time.
